Now, those extensions are in.Scott Frost’s assistant coaches were set to have their contracts expire at year’s end. Now, it looks like most of the group is intact, and each will be on the books through December 31, 2020.This news does come as Nebraska is losing one key assistant.Defensive line coach Mike Dawson is heading to the NFL, taking over the same job on the New York Giants staff, as of Monday.The #NYGiants have hired Mike Dawson as outside linebackers coach and Henry Baker as the assistant defensive backs coach.Details:— New York Giants (@Giants) February 11, 2019According to the Omaha World-Herald, Scott Frost is still on his original seven-year contract that he received after coming over to his alma mater following two years at UCF.In 2017, he led the Knights to an undefeated season, AAC title, and Peach Bowl win over Auburn.
